My topic = Vision of gods
“When you speak about God, there are two types. One is the Creator God: the permanent, everlasting God. Then there are what are called the deities, or celestial beings, or devas. In Buddhism we speak about the deities. They are not permanent or everlasting. The God that theistic religion speaks of is a permanent, everlasting God and it is this God who punishes the evil deeds and rewards the good deeds of the creatures of his creation. This concept is not in Buddhism.”

The Religion of Buddha do not worship any god. They don't have any views on creation. They believe that having a view or theory on how the world was created is "worthless". Many people who aren’t in the religion often think they worship Buddha. Rather than worship him, they look at him as the person who give the “spiritual enlightenment” the life cycle of life and death. When it comes to god in their religion, they speak about things they call deities. That is a god that is not everlasting. That god is not permanent. They are not like other religions where they have everlasting gods that chastise the evil and gives good things in life and afterlife.
"If I were asked to define the Hindu creed, I should simply say: Search after truth through non-violent means. A man may not believe in God and still call himself a Hindu. Hinduism is a relentless pursuit after truth... Hinduism is the religion of truth. Truth is God. Denial of God we have known. Denial of truth we have not known" - Gandhi
The hindus worship mainly on god. He is called the "Ultimate Oneness" or Brahman for short. Together he is infinite representations of gods and goddesses that "incarnate within idols, temples, gurus, river, and animals."A hindu's goal in life is to become free from the law of karma and to be free from continuous reincarnations. In order for that to happen, they have to 1. be lovely and devoted to any of the hindu gods or goddesses. 2. Grow in knowledge through meditation of Brahman to realize that circumstances in life are not real, that selfhood is an illusion and only brahman is real. And 3. Be dedicated to various religion ceremonies and rites. They also believe that sickness, and starvation or any disaster that happend is due to a persons evil actions from a previous lifetime.
"God is God. Because He is God, He is worthy of my trust and obedience. I will find rest nowhere but in His holy will, a will that is unspeakably beyond my largest notions of what He is up to."- Elisabeth Elliot

In the religion of christianity, God is well, God. They believe that god "gave his only son so that we could have paradise on earth and everlasting life. Christians take their beliefs really serious. The early father and councils of the religion had distinguished between orthodoxy and heresy in order to preserve what they believed to be the true christian message. They believe god is forgiving and that as long as you continue to praise him you will be resurrected at an event the christians call the rapture. That is apart of Armageddon which is the fight between god and the devil. Christians still keep these beliefs to this day.
